The problems, not the pitch

Work

We would rather show you the shape of the problems we solve than a wall of logos. Named client work appears here as owners give written permission — and only then.

The kinds of jobs we take on

These are the shapes of problem we build for — example scenarios, not client case studies. Named client work goes here as owners give written permission.

Example 01A whiteboard becomes a booking sheet

Sector: plumbing & heating · six vans

A whiteboard becomes a booking sheet

Jobs live on a wall calendar and get read out over the phone. When the office is busy two vans turn up at the same address, and nobody can see tomorrow without walking into the room.

What we would build: a shared booking sheet that works on the counter screen and on a phone in a van. Same wall, same habits, now visible from anywhere.

Example 02Stock that matches the shelf

Sector: specialty retail · one store

Stock that matches the shelf

The website and the till keep separate counts. Online orders come in for things that sold in store that morning, and every one means a refund and an apology.

What we would build: one stock count, wherever the sale happens, with labels printing from the same screen the order arrives on.

Example 03Quotes out the same day

Sector: cabinetmaking · two-person shop

Quotes out the same day

Every quote is rebuilt from scratch in a spreadsheet after hours. Quotes go out days late, and the ones that go out fast are the ones that get underpriced.

What we would build: a quote builder holding real materials and hourly rates. Pick the parts, print the quote, send it before leaving the workshop.

Why there are no logos on this page

We name a client only when that client has said yes in writing. No logo goes up because it looks good in a row, and no job is described here as ours until the person who paid for it has read how we describe it.

If you would like to speak to somebody we have built for, ask on the call and we will tell you honestly who we can and cannot introduce you to.

Tell us which one sounds like your week.

Thirty minutes on a call and a written recommendation afterwards, whether or not you build anything with us.
